Advisor to CIU Rector Participates in International Scientific Conference
On May 25-28, Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University, Doctor of Political Science, Associate Professor Giorgi Pareshishvili participated in the Second International Scientific Conference “Democratization and State-Building” organized by the Political Science Association (MoPSA) in Budva, Montenegro.
Within the framework of the conference, Giorgi Pareshishvili made a presentation on the topic: “Post-Soviet Georgia in Transition: Manoeuvring between Regional Integration Models and National Interests in Contemporary International Relations”.
The international conference aimed to promote interdisciplinary dialogue among prominent scholars, researchers, and professionals, combining theoretical and empirical perspectives on issues of democratization, institutional development and state sustainability.
During the visit, the Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University met with the President of the Montenegrin Political Science Association, Prof. Dr. Olivera Komar, where the parties discussed the possibilities of future collaboration between the institutions.
The conference was co-organized by the State University of Montenegro and the City Hall of Budva, and supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

CIU Hosted Turkish Professor Yusuf Avar as Part of Erasmus+
Caucasus International University (CIU) hosted Yusuf Avar, Assistant Professor at Kilis 7 Aralik University (Kilis, Turkey), as part of the Erasmus+ academic staff mobility program. The visit turned out to be quite hectic and diverse, including both official meetings and public lectures, as well as cultural educational tours.
