    University Vision

Caucasus International University is an educational and scientific institution that contributes to socio-economic progress and promotes Georgian and global cultural values based on modern knowledge.

    University Mission

Caucasus International University creates a modern academic and scientific environment through innovative methods, internationalization and a diverse university life. The university aims to educate generations with democratic values who are competitive in both local and international labor markets and who can contribute to solving the challenges of sustainable development.

    University Campuses

The university unites three modern and well-equipped campuses, with the completion of one planned by the end of 2025. The campuses feature contemporary classrooms, laboratories, sports fields and student recreational areas.

    Okami

Caucasus International University contributes to the 8,000-year-old tradition of Georgian viticulture-winemaking.

The university Bachelor’s and Master’s educational programs in viticulture and enology are supported by a traditional Georgian wine cellar equipped with qvevri, a rich collection vineyard with over 100 varieties of Georgian grapes, a well-stocked enotheque, the traditional wine cellar “Kolkhi”, a micro-vinification research lab, modern laboratories in enochemistry, viticulture and microbiology and Etno Okami.
It should be noted the exceptional wines produced through Caucasus International University viticulture and winemaking base served as the precondition for the foundation of the company.

Today, the company cultivates up to 10 hectares of vineyards and is developing the historical “Okami Winery” on a similar scale — both of which are continually supported by Caucasus International University Faculty of Viticulture and Enology with its unique infrastructure.

The geographical location, climate and soil of the Okami microzone once again highlight the role of vineyard for Georgia as both a “breadbasket” and “gateway” — a place where civilization both enters and departs.
This cyclical world connection is reflected in the five core products of “Etno Okami”:
    • Khashmi Saperavi,
    • Rkatsiteli,
    • Shavkapito,
    • Tavkveri,
    • Goruli Mtsvane and Chinuri blend.
