Programme Overview
The Double Diploma Programme enables CIU students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration programme to study for one academic year at IPB in Portugal.
During this period, students complete 72 ECTS credits at IPB, which are fully recognized and credited toward their CIU degree under an approved curriculum equivalency framework between both universities.
Upon successful completion, students receive two diplomas — one from CIU and one from IPB — recognizing their achievement in international business education.
Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the Double Diploma Programme, CIU students must:
- Successfully complete at least four semesters (120 ECTS) of the Business Administration bachelor programme at CIU.
- Maintain a strong academic record and motivation to pursue studies abroad.
- Be enrolled as a regular student at both CIU and IPB during the double diploma period.
Study Plan at IPB
The study plan at IPB is designed to be completed within two semesters (72 ECTS) and includes a combination of theoretical and practical business modules.

Upon completion, IPB awards a Bachelor’s Diploma in International Business Management, which is officially recognized and credited toward the student’s CIU study plan.
Tuition Fees
Students participating in the programme are required to register at IPB during their mobility period.
Annual Tuition Fee: €1,567.50
- Payable in 10 monthly installments
- Additional fees for credit recognition and degree certification may apply, in accordance with IPB regulations.

Through this Double Diploma Programme, CIU students can obtain:

Bachelor of Informatics Engineering from Bragança Polytechnic University (IPB)

Programme Overview
The Double Diploma Programme allows CIU students majoring in Information Technologies to study at IPB for one academic year and graduate with two bachelor’s degrees.
During their mobility, students complete 60 ECTS credits at IPB. These credits are fully recognized toward their CIU degree under a pre-approved equivalency framework between both universities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the programme, students must:
- Successfully complete at least six semesters (180 ECTS) of CIU’s Information Technologies bachelor programme.
- Maintain excellent academic standing and motivation for international study.
- Be officially enrolled as regular students at both CIU and IPB during the double diploma period
Tuition Fees
Students must be legally registered at IPB during their international mobility period.
Annual Tuition Fee (2025/2026 Academic Year): €1,567.50
- Payable in 10 monthly installments

– IELTS overall 6.0 or TOEFL 80. - Be enrolled as regular students at both CIU and IPAG during the double diploma period.
Tuition Fees and Discounts
Annual Tuition Fee (2024/2025): €8,900
Special tuition discounts for CIU students:
- 12% reduction – for groups of 10 to 20 students
- 15% reduction – for groups of 21 students or more
All fees are billed directly by IPAG Business School and paid prior to the start of the semester. Students are responsible for any additional mandatory fees.
Application Process
- Obtain the official IPAG application package from CIU’s International Relations Department.
- Submit the completed application to CIU for eligibility review.
- IPAG Business School reviews and finalizes admission decisions.
- Successful applicants receive an official Letter of Acceptance and enrolment instructions from IPAG.
