Training for CIU Doctoral Students

A training for doctoral students was held at the initiative of the Doctoral Service of Caucasus International University.
The training was led by Nino Mindiashvili, Doctor of Philology and Head of the Doctoral Service of CIU, who introduced the doctoral students in detail to the main features of the structure of a scientific paper.
The meeting placed emphasis on the new standard for the doctoral level, within the framework of which the following were discussed: the structure of the qualification paper, the application form, the annotation, the table of contents, the structure of the introductory part, the review process of the paper, the ratio of doctoral students and supervisors and other important issues.
At the end of the meeting, in a Q&A session, the minimum standard was discussed, the fulfilment of which is important in order for the procedures for defending the dissertation to be carried out in compliance with the relevant rules.

Public Defense of Ekaterine Pipia’s Dissertation Thesis
A public defense of the dissertation thesis by Ekaterine Pipia, a student of the Doctoral Educational Program in Law, Caucasus International University was held on July 29, 2026. The title of the dissertation thesis was: “Acquisition of an LLC Share by a Partner and the Rights Attached to the Share (Comparative Legal Analysis)”.
