Public Lecture: Georgian Literature as Part of the World Literary Heritage
Caucasus International University hosted a public lecture on the topic: “Georgian Literature as Part of the World Literary Heritage”. The event was organized by the Student Mentorship Service and the University Library.
Speaker: Irma Ratiani — Professor at Tbilisi State University, Head of the Department of General and Comparative Literary Studies, Director of Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature, and President of the Georgian Comparative Literature Association (GCLA).
The lecture was conducted in English and attended by both Georgian and international students. The meeting continued in a Q&A format, allowing participants to share their opinions.
At the end of the event, the speaker received symbolic gifts, while participants left commemorative notes on the “Wall of Friendship.”
