“Building a Simple AI Chatbot” - Workshop

Caucasus International University hosted the final meeting of the educational week - “AI Ecosystem: From Knowledge to Innovation”. The event was dedicated to a practical workshop on the topic: “Building a Simple AI Chatbot”, and the speaker was Sophio Barnov, Associate Professor of Georgian Technical University and Caucasus International University.

At the workshop, participants learned in detail what a chatbot is and how it can be created in practice. The speaker explained to the audience that a chatbot is a program that answers user questions - reads the text, recognizes important words and returns the appropriate answer.

Since the workshop was designed for complete beginners and did not require prior knowledge, during the session, the participants created a simple chatbot step by step, which can answer various questions. At the end of the meeting, everyone saw in practice how this technology works and what are the prospects for its further development.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, Professor Ketevan Nanobashvili. In her speech, she summarized the activities carried out within the framework of the week, placed emphasis on the importance of such initiatives and thanked each participant and organizer for their hard work.

The Faculty of Business and Technology is actively planning to implement technological and innovative projects in the future, which will help students and interested parties acquire modern skills.
