Awards of CIU Vocational Program Graduates
Graduates of Caucasus International University Vocational Education Center programs were awarded state-recognized certificates during a solemn graduation ceremony. The event marked an important milestone for 23 students who successfully completed their vocational education programs in the spring semester of 2026, acquiring the practical skills and professional competencies required for today’s labor market.
The “Geriatric Assistant” vocational training program - 13 graduates successfully completed the training. It is noteworthy that the funding of this course was implemented within the framework of Tbilisi City Hall program - “Learn and Get a Job”.
The “Winemaker-Technician” vocational retraining program - 10 graduates completed the course. The financial support and financing of the program was provided by the LEPL State Employment Support Agency.
Theoretical and practical classes of both programs were held at the highest level. The university academic staff from the faculties of Medicine and Viticulture and Enology, as well as leading specialists in the field from practice facilities in Tbilisi and Okami, made a great contribution to the success of the educational process.
The implementers of the vocational programs were: Olani Gotsiridze, Lasha Bodaveli, Vazha Ozashvili, Ketevan Veliashvili, Maka Gabidzashvili and Nano Shvangiradze. Tea Guruli, Director of the Friendly Community Boarding House for the Elderly, participated in the “Geriatric Assistant” program as a guest teacher, sharing practical and invaluable knowledge with the students.
For your information, the Vocational Education Center of Caucasus International University was established in 2023. The main goal of the center is to support the prospects for the future development of the education system and promote the integration of the professional education system in the country. The center is headed by an experienced manager and education expert, Tea Osepashvili.
Since its establishment, seven certificate, short-term vocational programs have been developed through the active administration of the center. In 2024-2026, all seven of them received the official right for implementation by the decision of the relevant council of National Center for Education Quality Enhancement.
The Center continues to work actively and plans to introduce new, modern professional programs in various fields. The priority of the center remains to respond quickly to the modern demands of the labor market, taking into account and implementing both national and international best practices.

Caucasus International University hosted the final meeting of the educational week - “AI Ecosystem: From Knowledge to Innovation”. The event was dedicated to a practical workshop on the topic: “Building a Simple AI Chatbot”, and the speaker was Sophio Barnov, Associate Professor of Georgian Technical University and Caucasus International University.
