Visit of a Turkish Professor within the Framework of the Erasmus+ Program
From August 31 to September 4, Caucasus International University welcomed Associate Professor Huseyn Akbash from Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (Turkey) within the framework of the Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility Program.
The academic staff mobility program proved to be highly productive. The program commenced with a meeting between Professor Akbash and the Head of the International Relations Department, Svetlana Kirakosyan, during which the parties discussed opportunities for expanding future collaboration. Additionally, Professor Akbash met with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Magda Tortladze, and shared his academic experience. The guest visited the Clinical Skills Center of Caucasus International University. During the visit, he got acquainted with the academic facilities, educational programs and research activities of the university.
The meetings ended with a certificate presentation ceremony.

On September 8, a training course titled “RuBase/StratBase: Update and Overview” was conducted by Professor Adam Stulberg, Chair of the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA). The event was co-organized by Caucasus International University and the Institute of Conflict Studies of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Jovana Ablotia, a PhD student in the Political Science Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Caucasus International University, has been awarded the 2026 European Association for International Education (EAIE) Doctoral Research Grant.

Registration for freshmen admitted to Caucasus International University through the 2026 Unified National Exams is now open. Freshman registration will be conducted from September 2 through September 12, 2026 (inclusive).
