CIU Representative Participates in Erasmus+ Week

Svetlana Kirakosiani, Head of the International Relations Department at Caucasus International University (CIU), participated in the 11th International Erasmus+ Week, organized by the University of Burgos in Spain.

The international week brought together representatives from 19 universities across 13 countries, offering participants the opportunity to share experiences, explore prospects for international collaboration, and outline future joint initiatives.

During the event, particular emphasis was placed on funding opportunities for new projects under the Erasmus+ program and on strengthening international collaboration. Participants discussed new project initiatives, as well as prospects for deepening cooperation between universities and implementing joint projects.

Event participants also learned about the Spanish language program and courses offered at the University of Burgos, which are designed to facilitate the professional and cultural integration of international staff.

One key session focused on projects and initiatives implemented within the framework of the European Universities Alliance. Participants received information regarding the Alliance activities, new forms of international collaboration, and the opportunities available to universities.

As part of the International Week, a workshop on European values ​​was also held, during which participants discussed the significance of these values ​​within educational projects, international cooperation, and the daily operations of universities. The session highlighted the significance of European partnership, diversity, mutual respect, and intercultural dialogue.

A significant part of the event was dedicated to discussing opportunities for future cooperation. Meetings with representatives from universities in various countries highlighted prospects for developing new partnerships, joint projects, and collaboration within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.

Participation in the International Erasmus+ Week at the University of Burgos marks another important step toward strengthening the international partnerships of Caucasus International University, expanding Erasmus+ opportunities, and advancing the university internationalization.
