“StudFest 2025” – Opening Ceremony
Caucasus International University participated in the official opening ceremony of the student festival “StudFest 2025”.
The event was held at “Lisi Lemans” and was attended by around 800 Georgian and international students from Caucasus International University. In total, more than 30 universities participated in the festival.
During the opening and the following days of the festival, CIU students showed notable achievements in both team and individual sports competitions:
- Chess (Women) - Mariam Amaghlobeli, 1st Place; Teona Gogoladze, 2nd Place;
- 3x3 Basketball (Men) - 1st Place
- Table Tennis (Women) - Nini Lipartia, 1st Place
- Karting - 1st Place
- Backgammon (Women) - Tamar Oqujava, 2nd Place
- Darts (Women) - Teona Javakhidze, 2nd Place
- Arm Wrestling (Men) - Muro Murjikneli (60 kg, right arm), 2nd Place;
- Saba Sandroshvili (90 kg, right arm), 2nd Place;
- Luka Phiphia (90 kg, left arm), 3rd Place
- Table Tennis (Men) - Tornike Tarkhnishvili, 2nd Place
- Street Football (Men) - 3rd Place
StudFest is implemented through the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, in collaboration with the LEPL Youth Agency, Tbilisi City Hall and the Association of Georgian Student Organizations.
“Studfest 2025” aims to: develop the potential of the youth; promote healthy lifestyles; encourage the exchange of cultural and creative ideas among young people; foster students’ professional and intellectual skills through interactive activities; promote volunteer activities among the youth, support teamwork, critical thinking and the generation of innovative ideas; create a common space where students can communicate, share experiences and gain new knowledge.
The festival, which lasts for six months, includes sports tournaments between universities and implementation of cultural, educational, and volunteer activities. In addition to sports, educational, cultural, and volunteer activities, the youth festival also includes a fan prize. Students of higher and vocational educational institutions can participate in “Studfest”.

CIU Students Participate in Exchange Program in South Korea
Magda Ekaladze and Anastasia Kontselidze, second-year students of the Bachelor’s educational program in English Language and Literature at Caucasus International University, are pursuing their studies in South Korea at Chonnam National University within the framework of an exchange program.
