On November 28, the Faculty of Medicine at Caucasus International University successfully hosted a practice-oriented workshop.

The session covered all essential topics related to proper electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis and its application in clinical practice.

The workshop was led by Nikoloz Khutsishvili, Coordinator of Cardiological Research at Reymann Clinic and Junior Cardiologist at Geo-Hospital.

During the session, students studied the electrophysiological basics of cardiac function, gained practical skills in ECG recording and interpretation, learned to identify rhythm and conduction disorders, analyzed ischemic and infarction-related changes, evaluated the effects of electrolyte imbalance on ECG results and participated in case-based clinical discussions.

The goal of the workshop was to deepen studentsโ€™ practical understanding of ECG and strengthen their ability to conduct independent analysis, enabling them to be better prepared for clinical settings and to apply their knowledge effectively in patient care.
