CIU Faculty of Viticulture and Enology Representatives Visit Italy

CIU Professional Education Center certificate program implementers and the representatives of the Faculty Viticulture and Enology — Maia Mirvelashvili, Londa Mamasakhlisashvili and Lasha Bodaveli — completed a study visit to viticulture and winemaking companies and colleges in the historic town of Alba, Italy.

This visit was carried out as a result of winning the competition announced by the Professional Skills Agency.

The purpose of the visit was to support the acquisition and sharing of modern sectoral pedagogy knowledge among colleagues; to strengthen teachers’ professional networks (both nationally and internationally); to promote the internationalization of vocational education; and to encourage the introduction of innovative teaching methods and approaches within vocational education.

The international study visit was fully funded by the Professional Skills Agency. Following the visit, CIU Professional Education Center will organize meetings for other teachers in the field, graduates and interested individuals to share international experience and provide information on professional development opportunities.
