A public defense of the dissertation thesis by Tamar Tagvadze, a student of the Doctoral Program in Mass Communication was held at Multimedia Center Panorama of Caucasus International University on July 7, 2026. The title of the dissertation thesis was: “At the Head of the Georgian Emigrant Press – the Newspaper “Sakartvelo”.
Scientific supervisor of the paper is Nino Mindidashvili, Doctor of Philology, Professor of Caucasus International University. Official reviewers are: Khatuna Kacharava, Doctor of Social Sciences in the field of Media, Professor of Caucasus International University and Marine Lomidze, Doctor of Journalism, Professor of Georgian Technical University.
After presenting the thesis and completing the relevant procedures, by the decision of the Dissertation Council, Tamar Tagvadze was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Mass Communication.
