Recognition of CIU Winery “Etno Okami” Wines

As part of the International Wine and Spirits Exhibition - WineExpo Georgia 2026 - Georgia International Wine Awards 2026 international competition was traditionally held, where a competent tasting jury identified the best wines in various nominations.

At the 16th Georgia International Wine Awards, Caucasus International University Winery “Etno Okami” achieved exceptional success. Three types of wine produced by the university took prize places at the competition:

• Okami Red 2023 (Shavkapito) - Silver Medal;

• Tavkveri 2022 - Silver Medal;

• Okami White 2023 (Chinuri-Goruli Mtsvane) - Bronze Medal.

The jury consisted of both local and foreign wine professionals. Their decisions and assessments are of strategic importance in the process of raising the awareness and recognition of Georgian wine in the international market.
