Training - “Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Educational Process”
On July 6, a practical training on the topic “Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Educational Process” was held at Caucasus International University. The event was led by the University Associate Professor Mzia Kiknadze.
The main emphasis was placed on the practical use of artificial intelligence at the meeting for academic staff. Participants were introduced in detail to modern platforms for generating text, presentation materials and visual content, as well as automated methods of information processing and data analysis. Special attention was paid to effective prompting strategies - the principles of correct communication with artificial intelligence and accurate formulation of tasks, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the highest quality results.
Along with practical tools, the meeting also focused on issues of academic integrity. The speaker discussed with the audience the ethical framework for using AI in research and modern approaches to preventing plagiarism. In this context, the participants learned in detail about the functional capabilities of AI-detectors and their real limitations, which is a necessary factor for the responsible use of technologies in the academic space.
The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, Professor Ketevan Nanobashvili, who highlighted the importance of introducing such technological innovations at the university and the continuous development of academic staff. The meeting was held within the framework of the educational week - “AI Ecosystem: From Knowledge to Innovation”.
