Cardio-Surgical Workshop “CardioCore” Held for Future Physicians
On July 12, the organization MCO hosted the large-scale workshop “CardioCore: Cardiological Anatomy and Surgical Skills”, bringing together approximately 85 international students from the Faculty of Medicine at Caucasus International University.
The intensive program combined comprehensive theoretical instruction with unique hands-on practical training. The event began with a lecture delivered by Dr. Mariam Tetradze, a lecturer at Caucasus International University, who provided students with an in-depth overview of cardiac anatomy and its clinical significance. Following the lecture, participants took part in an interactive quiz designed to reinforce the knowledge they had acquired and assess their understanding of the material.
One of the main innovations of the workshop was the use of a 3D visualization program. Through it, students studied the anatomy of the heart in an interactive, three-dimensional space, which made the perception of theoretical material even easier. Within the framework of the event, students were given the opportunity to work directly on the heart and master clinical skills under the supervision of professionals.
In parallel with the practical work, special interactive group activities were also organized, which made the learning process more dynamic and fun. The seminar ended with a report by Dr. Alexander Eyobas and a Q&A session, where students received comprehensive answers to clinical cases of interest to them.
At the end of the event, a ceremony was held, where the organizers presented all participants with memorable gifts. According to the organizers, the project exceeded expectations - the high ratings received from the students confirm that such practical workshops are of great importance for the formation of future professionals. The CardioCore team thanks its supporters for their partnership and announces many more educational initiatives in the future.
