Memorandum with the Travel Company “Chardins Voyages”

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Caucasus International University and the travel company “Chardins Voyages”. The agreement aims to strengthen the partnership between the university and representatives of the tourism industry, expand opportunities for students to gain practical experience, and implement joint educational and practical projects.

The memorandum was signed by Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector of Caucasus International University, and Malkhaz Darbaidze, Head of “Chardins Voyages”. The meeting was also attended by Ketevan Nanobashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology at Caucasus International University, and Lali Mikeladze, Head of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the significance of developing modern professional competencies in the tourism and hospitality sectors, integrating theoretical knowledge with practice, and engaging students in the industry environment. Emphasis has been placed on the close cooperation between the academic sector and the tourism industry, which will enable students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in a real professional environment and gain in-depth insight into the specifics of tourism company operations.
