World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) World Conference 2025 was held in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 25-28. The central theme of the conference was: “Health for All – Through Quality Medical Education.” The conference aimed to promote global health improvement by establishing standards in medical education and sharing innovative approaches.
The leadership of the Faculty of Medicine at Caucasus International University—Dean of the faculty, Professor Magda Tortladze and Deputy Dean, Associate Professor Nana Janashia actively participated in the event.
The conference brought together representatives of leading universities and accreditation bodies from around the world, as well as experts in medical education.
The participation of university representatives in the international academia once again confirms that Caucasus International University is firmly committed to enhancing the quality of medical education and aligning it with global standards. During the conference, the Dean and Deputy Dean held several strategic working meetings, including the meetings with Professor Ricardo Leon-Bórquez, President of the World Federation for Medical Education, as well as with representatives of higher education institutions from various countries.
These meetings represent an important step toward the internationalization of the university and the strengthening of its collaboration with the global academic community.
