Master’s Student in Viticulture and Enology in France Within the Framework of Erasmus+ Exchange Program

Liziko Ghvininashvili, a Master’s student in Georgian Viticulture and Enology at CIU, will pursue her studies in France through the Erasmus+ exchange program at Institut Agro Montpellier. The program, running from April 27 to June 30, is both intensive and diverse. It combines two key components:
Academic knowledge: the student will become engage in the academic process of prestigious Vinifera Master’s program;
Practical experience: together with theoretical knowledge, Liziko will undertake hands-on training in the ampelographic collection vineyard located on the Institut Agro Montpellier campus.
This opportunity is particularly valuable for Georgian students, as it allows them to become familiar with European winemaking standards and practices, and to apply this knowledge toward the development of the wine industry in Georgia.
