    Law Office “Migriauli and Partners” Nominative Scholarship Contest

    The Law Office “Migriauli and Partners” nominative scholarship competition is announced for bachelor’s students of the Faculty of Law of Caucasus International University.

    Students of the Faculty of Law who are studying in the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Law, have an active status and are distinguished by high academic performance are eligible for the competition. In order to participate in the competition, students must send the documentation electronically to the following email address: career@ciu.edu.ge by June 5.

    List of Required Documentation:

    Full transcript of a candidate’s academic performance approved by the Faculty Dean’s signature;

    Cover letter (maximum one page);

    Documents confirming a candidate’s participation in various activities in the field of private law;

    Please indicate “Migriauli and Partners” Nominative Scholarship in the subject line of the email.

    The contest consists of three stages: 

    First Stage – Submission of scholarship candidate’s documentations;

    Second Stage – evaluating the candidates’ data at the joint meeting and making a decision;

    Third Stage – Awarding scholarship certificate to students by “Migriauli and Partners” Head and Caucasus International University Rector. 

    The scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:

    Candidates for scholarship funding will be selected based on students’ academic performance, participation in various activities and their cover letter;

    The scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:

    The student’s cumulative grade point average (GPA) during their studies at the university (maximum 4 points);

    The student’s cumulative grade point average (GPA) during the previous semester of study at the university (maximum 4 points);

    Participation in various activities in the field of private law - will be assessed with no more than 1 point, each publication in the field of private law will be assessed with no more than 0.2 points, each conference will be assessed with no more than 0.2 points;

    Cover letter - maximum 1 point;

    The committee will be guided by the documents provided by the student.

    In the case of a printed publication, the student must submit a copy of the publication, including the title page and bibliography; in the case of participation in a conference – the conference program and a certificate of participation.

    If scholarship candidates have accumulated equal points, preference will be given to the student with a higher GPA (full-time education).

    The scholarship is not awarded to:

    Freshmen;

    A student who has exceeded the standard timeframe for academic program (additional semester) at the relevant level of higher education;

    A student who has completed fewer credits than the semester load specified by the program;

    A student who has 50% or less attendance at lectures conducted by Roin Migriauli.
