International Scientific Conference - The Black Sea Region at the Crossroads of Civilization- III – Was held
On October 18-19, an international scientific conference – “The Black Sea at the Crossroads of Civilizations III” - was held in Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University within the framework of the scientific-educational event “Young scientists for a better future of the planet”.
The conference featured presentations in history, archaeology, ethnology, philology, linguistics, folklore, ecology, political science, and other fields relevant to the Black Sea region, and over 150 researchers representing ten countries participated in the forum.
It is noteworthy that the representatives of Caucasus International University: Vakhtang Maisaya, Giorgi Pareshishvili, Tamta Kodua, Maya Kapanadze, Natia Kenchiashvili, Miranda Mikadze, Gela Giorgadze, Tinatin Javakhishvili, Tornike Zedelashvili, Alika Guchua, Maka Buleishvili, Sergo Tevzadze, Ani Gagnidze, and Beka Managadze actively participated in the hybrid-format conference.
The political science section of the conference, conducted in person, was chaired by Mr. Alika Guchua, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Caucasus International University and Head of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations.
The scientific conference was co-organized by Niko Berdzenishvili Research Institute of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, the Romanian Academy of Sciences, Ovidius University of Constanta and supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Georgia and Adjara.
Each participant was awarded a certificate towards the end of the conference.
