    A Training “Effective Use of EBSCO Electronic Databases and Key Updates for 2025–2026” was held at the library of the Caucasus International University.

    The event was attended by students, academic staff and individuals involved in research activities. The training was led by Maia Metreveli, EBSCO representative in Georgia, project manager at Innovative Educational Connections, and a specialist in educational technologies.

    During the session, participants received detailed information about EBSCO electronic resources, including the structure and functionality of scientific materials available in the databases, as well as updated features and new developments for 2025–2026.

    Emphasis was placed on modern methods of academic information retrieval, techniques for optimizing search systems, and the basic principles of selecting and citing scholarly materials.

    The meeting was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to practically apply various search strategies and receive recommendations tailored to their specific research needs. Additionally, the principles of selecting and citing scientific materials were also discussed, highlighting their important role in maintaining academic integrity.

    At the end of the training, the administration congratulated librarians on their professional day, emphasizing their significance in educational and scientific processes, and recognizing their tireless work and professionalism, which they demonstrate daily in contributing to the development of society.
