Exhibition of Works by Persons with Special Needs at CIU
An exhibition of works by persons with special needs was held at Caucasus International University. The event was organized by the non-governmental organization “Step by Step.” The exhibition was titled “Art Without Barriers”.
The event aimed to showcase the creative potential of individuals with special needs, support their psycho-social rehabilitation and promote their integration into society. The exhibition featured a variety of works created by the organization beneficiaries, reflecting authors’ individual perspectives and inner worlds.
The event was opened by Nino Gulua, Doctor of Medicine, Director of the “Step by Step” organization. In her speech, she placed emphasis on the importance of art as a universal language of communication and noted that such initiatives help break existing stereotypes.
“Art is a language that needs no translation. It comes directly from the heart and reaches the heart. The participation of persons with special needs in the creative process is not just inclusion — it is the sharing of their unique vision and the enrichment of our society,” stated Nino Gulua.
Towards the end of the event, the director of the organization expressed special gratitude to Caucasus International University for its continuous support and collaboration.
