CIU Successfully Concludes Its Participation at “Studfest 2026”
Caucasus International University showed an impressive performance at “Studfest 2026” - CIU took second place in the overall team standings as a result of the active involvement of students and successful participation.
On June 18, the closing ceremony of the youth festival “Studfest 2026” was held at the “Paragraph” hotel, where students of Caucasus International University were awarded.
Within the framework of the festival, CIU students successfully competed in various educational, cultural and sports activities and won 12 gold, 10 silver and 3 bronze medals on behalf of the university.
The closing event was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Givi Mikanadze, the Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze, as well as representatives of universities and local authorities, including the Chancellor of Caucasus International University Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze.
During the speech at the event, emphasis was placed on the significance of supporting young people, increasing their motivation, and creating spaces that allow students to reveal and develop their own abilities. It was noted that “Studfest” has already become a traditional project and will gain an even wider scale in the future.
Up to 20,000 students from 42 higher educational institutions of Georgia participated in “Studfest 2026”. Within the framework of the festival, 45 educational, cultural and sports tournaments were held in Tbilisi and various major cities of Georgia, and 582 students were named winners.
This success is another important testament to the students’ dedicated work, talent, and team spirit for Caucasus International University.
