Caucasus International University marks another significant milestone in advancing its scientific and research capabilities. Within the framework of the ERIC-GE project, the university has been granted access to Web of Science, one of the world's most prestigious and authoritative scientific databases. This is a strategic achievement for CIU, as only few higher education institutions in Georgia have access to these exclusive resources.

These databases provide the university community with the opportunity to significantly enhance research quality. Access to internationally peer-reviewed journals and scientific articles on Web of Science will elevate the quality of research and academic papers produced by CIU staff and students, bringing them to global standards. Furthermore, CIU academic staff, researchers, and students can easily register and access the database using their official university email addresses.

The step-by-step instructions for registration, account setup, and platform navigation can be found in the guide.

Enhancing Research and Innovation Capacities in Georgian HEIs (ERIC-GE) is a large-scale project funded under the EU ERASMUS+ CBHE call. Its primary goal is to enhance the research and innovative potential of local universities, introduce modern research management approaches, and align institutional practices with global standards. Coordinated by the Institute "Techinformi" of GTU, the project unites six Georgian and two European universities. By participating, CIU reaffirms its commitment to internationalization, fostering academic advancement and global competitiveness.
