    CIU Doctoral Students Win a Grant from Rustaveli Science Foundation

    Natia Popkhadze, a student of Doctoral Educational Program in Mass Communication at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University and Tamar Rizhamadze, a student of Doctoral Educational Program in Viticulture and Enology, have been awarded a doctoral educational programs grant from Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.  

    It is noteworthy that the doctoral students will have the opportunity to carry out the research planned within their dissertation projects with the funding of the Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Natia Popkhadze’s grant project is titled: “The New Agenda of Traditional Media: The Digital Portfolio of the Georgian Public Broadcaster ‘First Channel’.” The project supervisor is Khatuna Kacharava, Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University and Head of the Doctoral Program in Mass Communication. Additionally, Tamar Rizhamadze’s project is: “Comprehensive Study of the Ampelographic and Enological Characteristics of Meskhetian Grapevine Varieties Considering Climate Change and Terraced Design”. The project supervisor is Levan Ujmajuridze, Academician of the Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Director of the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture.
