Public Lecture: “Medical Ethics and Effective Communication”
On December 4, the Faculty of Medicine at Caucasus International University organized a public lecture on “Medical Ethics and Effective Communication”. During the event, students gained both theoretical and practical knowledge about physicians’ professional responsibilities, proper doctor–patient relationships and essential communication skills.
The lecture was delivered by Salome Ramishvili, CIU Faculty of Medicine graduate, a healthcare manager and a certified trainer.
The session offered discussions and joint case analyses, ensuring high participant engagement and deeper understanding of the topic. Particular emphasis was placed on managing ethical dilemmas, the importance of empathy, teamwork and modern standards that ensure safe, humane and high-quality medical services. The goal of the event is to strengthen students’ professional values and develop skills that will help them become reliable and effective specialists in their future medical practice.

CIU Doctoral Students Win a Grant from Rustaveli Science Foundation
Natia Popkhadze, a student of Doctoral Educational Program in Mass Communication at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University and Tamar Rizhamadze, a student of Doctoral Educational Program in Viticulture and Enology, have been awarded a doctoral educational programs grant from Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
