Brilliant Him - Exhibition at CIU
Brilliant Him - an exhibition dedicated to the commemoration of St. Andrew the First-Called Apostle was opened on May 10 at Caucasus International University, where church items, gold embroidery, wax works, items created with cold gold knots, stone ornaments and church utensils are presented.
The authors of the exhibits presented at the exhibition are: Doctor of Art Studies, Professor Izolda Melikishvili; Artist, folk craft master Liana Aniashvili; Artist, folk craft master Dariko Chikhladze; Actress Rita Shamugia; Iamze Lomtadze (cloisonne enamel); Artist Khatuna Aniashvili; Master of folk crafts Nana Ambokadze; Dollmaker Lali Topuria; Marina Tsiklauri, mother Nino.
The exhibition, which is supported by Anzor Erkomaishvili State Folklore Center, will last until May 12.
The curator of the exhibition is professor Izolda Melikishvili and the co-organizer is the “International Association of Handicraft”.
