Travel and Transportation
The location of Caucasus International University educational buildings is convenient for everyone and they are easily accessible from all districts of Tbilisi. There is a metro station 1 kilometer away from the University and various buses and minibuses pass the university.
The main means of transportation in Tbilisi are minibuses, the so-called “Marshutkas”, buses, and the metro. The fare for each is 1 GEL (about 37 cents). However, if you swipe your MetroMoney card or any bank card, that first swipe entitles you to 90 minutes of travel without additional charge.
Taxi service is quite inexpensive in Georgia. The taxi fee starts from 2 GEL (80 cents) on average and you have to pay about 60-80 tetri (25-33 cents) per kilometer.
