Selection of Students for Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

Caucasus International University is pleased to announce a selection through competition to create student teams of the Faculty of Business and Technology for Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
The festival is the largest and most important event in the world advertising field. The festival began in 1954 and is held annually in the city of Cannes. The symbol of the festival is the lion. Advertising professionals from all over the world compete to win gold, silver and bronze lions. Owning Cannes lions adds a special status to its owner. The Young Lions competition is one of the parts of the Cannes festival. Here the rising stars of the sphere (individuals under 30) assert each other their strength in different directions.
Cannes Lions Youth Festival was held in Georgia for the first time in 2015, and this year it is being held for the ninth time.
The selection competition is held in 6 categories (in English): Digital, Print, Marketer, Film, Design and PR.
The festival sponsors in Georgia are: TBC, Aldagi, Gulf, Smartsoft, aPeople.
Competition Stages:
The team must consist of 2 members. Both team members must be students of CIU Faculty of Business and Technology (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctoral students). The participant must be able to communicate in English and be under 30, born after June 21, 1993.
I Stage - Intra-University Selection
- The team is selected according to the intra-university competition;
- The deadline for registration for the qualifying competition is March 27, 12:00 p.m.;
- The registered teams will receive the task on March 27, at 16:00;
- The winner will be announced on March 29;
- The main criteria for evaluating the competition task are: creativity, imagination, original proposal of the idea.
- One team will be selected by a competent committee.

II Stage - National Competition
The team selected at the intra-university competition will participate in the national competition, which will compete for participation in the Cannes Lions International Festival.
The deadline for registration at the national competition is March 31.
The national competition will start on April 12, and the winning teams will be announced on April 20. An inspiration stage will be created on the day of the awards with the support of TBC, where the contestants will compete against each other, and the winning team will travel to Cannes.
III Stage - Final of the Competition in Cannes (France) - June 17-21.
Teams from 70 countries participate in the final stage.
