    Scholarship Competition for Fall Semester

    The Scholarship Competition for the Fall Semester is announced in accordance with the Regulation on Awarding Successful Students with Scholarships, Single Prizes, and Other Kind of Incentives established by Caucasus International University.

    To ensure an objective and fair evaluation by the Scholarship Conferring Committee, it is required to provide detailed information about each applicant’s academic performance throughout the learning process. Additionally, the following information must be provided for every student participating in the contest:

    • Documents certifying students’ participation in student, academic, and scientific activities (from March 2025 to the present);
    • Information on students’ contribution to the development of the university and to enhancing its visibility and awareness (from March 2025 to the present).

    Information about academic-scientific activities and contributions to university development can be submitted electronically from September 29 to October 7, 2025, to the Service of Youth Affairs, Sports and Culture at the following email address: zurabi_kavtaria@ciu.edu.ge

    The University Administration reserves the right to request the original copies of submitted documents if there is any doubt regarding their authenticity.

    The decision on awarding scholarships will be announced no later than October 15, 2025.

    Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

    • Academic Performance – Evaluated according to the Grade Point Average (GPA) earned in the academic courses registered during the previous semester, covering no fewer than 27 credits;

    • Students who achieve a semester GPA above 3.5 are eligible to participate in the scholarship competition.
    • In addition to academic results, the Committee will review information regarding each student’s participation in student, academic, and scientific activities, as well as their contribution to the development of the university and efforts in enhancing the university public visibility and awareness.

    Academic scholarships are awarded in accordance with a ranking system, (a maximum of 410 points and a minimum of 350 points) and the criteria are the following:

    1. Academic performance results are calculated by multiplying the student’s semester GPA by 100. (For example, a semester GPA of 3.70 corresponds to 370 points, with 400 points representing the maximum possible score);
    2. Student’s participation in university activities and contribution to university development (maximum 5 points) - The scholarship applicant must submit a self-prepared summary describing the activities they have carried out in support of university life and development. The Committee members will evaluate these activities separately, based on the significance and degree of engagement, and will determine the final score as the arithmetic average of their individual assessments;
    3. Student’s participation in academic and scientific activities (conferences, debates, exchange projects, participation in student research projects, and simulations, etc.) (maximum 5 points) - The scholarship applicant must submit a self-prepared summary describing the activities they have carried out. The Committee members will assess these activities individually, considering the significance and degree of engagement, and will calculate the final score as the arithmetic average of the evaluations.
