Public Lecture - Independent Georgia and Its Future

Vazha Abakelia, Vice Dean of the faculty of Law, former General Procurator and a lawyer met Caucasus International University students on 24 March, 2016.
The topic of the meeting was “Independent Georgia and Its Future”.
The presenter placed emphasis on the independence of Georgia during 25 years.
Law, social-economic condition, gender issues, education and culture – these are the issues, which were discussed by Vazha Abakelia while analyzing domestic policy of Georgia.
Abakelia highlighted Georgian-Russian relation and the cooperation with neighbouring countries.
The second part of the meeting was held in the form of question-responses.

CIU Representatives at the 6th Erasmus+ Staff Week
On April 27-30, the “6th Erasmus+ Staff Week – Mobilities and Digitalization: Shaping the Future of the European Universities” was held at the University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Representatives of Caucasus International University participated in the event. The university was represented by the Head of the International Relations Department, Svetlana Kirakosiani and the department coordinators, Nino Chirgadze and Mariana Jalalbekova.

CIU Doctoral Students Visit the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria
From April 17 to 28, Bulgaria, in particular the University of Veliko Tarnovo hosted ten researchers from Caucasus International University. Doctoral students from the Doctoral Programs in Mass Communication, Political Science, Business Administration, and Law participated in the intensive, short-term exchange program.
