Public Defense of Nana Vasadze’s Dissertation Thesis
A public defense of the dissertation thesis by Nana Vasadze, a doctoral student of the PhD Program in Mass Communication, was held on February 13, 2026, at Multimedia Center Panorama of Caucasus International University. The title of the dissertation thesis was: “Characteristics of Crime Coverage in Contemporary Television Media, A Comparative Analysis of Georgia, Norway and Italy (2013-2023)”.
Scientific supervisor: Khatuna Kacharava - Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor at Caucasus International University.
Official reviewers: Zaza Tsotniashvili - Doctor of Social Sciences in the field of Media, Professor at Caucasus International University; Laura Kutubidze - Doctor of Journalism, Professor at Shota Rustaveli State University of Theatre and Cinema.
After the dissertation was submitted and the relevant procedures were completed, by the decision of the Dissertation Council, Nana Vasadze was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Mass Communication.
