Professor Maria Wesolowska’s Visit
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, Caucasus International University is hosting Professor Maria Wesolowska from Wroclaw Medical University.
On May 7, Professor Wesolowska delivered a series of lectures to CIU Faculty of Medicine students on the following topics: “Free-living amoebae and their impact on public health”; “Soil-transmitted helminths – cosmopolitan and endemic invasions”; “Modern laboratory diagnostic methods used in parasitology”; and “Application of laboratory methods in parasitological diagnostics.”
During her visit, Professor Wesolowska met with the representatives of CIU International Relations Department. Additionally, Magda Tortladze, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Nana Janashia, Vice Dean hosted the professor.
It is worth noting that Wroclaw Medical University and Caucasus International University have been collaborating productively for years, within the framework of both student and academic/administrative staff mobility. This cooperation continues within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
