    The scholarship competition for the Spring semester is announced in accordance with the Regulations on Awarding Successful Students with Scholarships, Single Prizes, and Other Kind of Incentives established by Caucasus International University.

    In order for the Scholarship Conferring Committee to make an objective and fair decision, it is necessary to submit, in addition to academic performance records, the following information about participating students:

    Documents certifying a student’s participation in student, academic and scientific activities (from September 15, 2025 to the present);

    Information on the student’s contribution to the development of the university and to enhancing its visibility and awareness (from September 15, 2025 to the present);

    Information regarding academic and scientific activities, as well as contributions to the university development, can be submitted from March 27 through April 10 (inclusive) to the Service of Youth Affairs, Sports and Culture in electronic form at the following email address: zurabi_kavtaria@ciu.edu.ge. The administration reserves the right to request original documents for verification in case of any doubts regarding the authenticity of the submitted materials.

    The decision on awarding the scholarship will be published no later than April 20.

    The scholarship will be granted based on the following criteria:

    Academic performance – calculated as the student’s Grade Point Average (GPA), based on the grades received in courses registered during the previous academic semester at the university (not less than 27 credits).

    Students with a semester GPA higher than 3.5 are eligible to receive the scholarship.

    In addition to academic performance, the committee will also take into account the student’s participation in student, academic, and scientific activities, as well as the extent of their contribution to the development of the university and the enhancement of its visibility and awareness.

    The academic scholarship is awarded based on a ranking system (maximum 410 points and minimum 350 points), with criteria determined as follows:

    1. a) Academic performance is determined by the weighted Grade Point Average (GPA), multiplied by 100 (e.g., a semester GPA of 3.70 equals 370 points; maximum – 400 points);
    2. b) Student participation in university student activities and contribution to the development of the university (maximum – 5 points) – an applicant must provide a description of the activities they have carried out. Each member of the committee evaluates the submitted activities individually based on their relevance and level of involvement, and the final score is calculated as an arithmetic average;
    3. c) Student participation in academic and scientific activities (such as conferences, debates, exchange programs, student academic and research projects, moot court participation, etc.) (maximum – 5 points) – applicants must provide a description of the activities they have carried out. Each member of the committee evaluates the submitted activities individually based on their relevance and level of involvement, and the final score is calculated as an arithmetic average.
