Caucasus International University announces the call for applications for a semester exchange program at its partner institution, FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences for the Spring Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.
Eligible Candidates: The program is open to students who are enrolled in the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Journalism, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Caucasus International University.
Duration of Studies: 1 semester
Number of Places: 2

Financial conditions:
- Within the framework of this project, students will be exempt from paying tuition fees at FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences and will continue to pay tuition at CIU according to the standard regulations.
- The grant provided under the Erasmus+ program is approximately €850 per month, plus travel expenses.

Visit by the Chair of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia
On September 28, Caucasus International University hosted Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, and Giorgi Dzadzamia, Minister of Education and Culture as part of the traditional “Abkhazia Week”. The public defense of the dissertation thesis by Omar Turmanidze, a doctoral student of the Educational Program in Political Sciences will be held at Niko Nikoladze Auditorium 305, Caucasus International University at 15:00 on October 7, 2026. The international scientific conference “The Black Sea Region at the Crossroads of Civilizations – V” was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The two-day scientific event was organized by the Niko Berdzenishvili Research Institute of BSU in cooperation with Ovidius University of Constanța.
