On May 29, at 16:00, the presentation of the video library of the history of Georgian literature - “Living Texts” will be held in the exhibition hall of Ilia Chavchavadze National Library of Georgia (III building).
The video library, consisting of three parts, combines the ancient (V-XVIII centuries), modern (XIX century) and latest (XX century) periods of Georgian literature. In each section, the materials presented chronologically, according to their relevance, are fully consistent with the curriculum of the history of Georgian literature.
Within the framework of the project, the works of Georgian writers are read by specialists in the field, literary scholars, textologists and publicists. The audio-visual presentation of works of various genres, professional vision and a new method of text understanding present the diversity and ideological-artistic value of Georgian classical literature in a modern form.
The project aims to promote Georgian writing, introduce it to the audience and once again rethink it.
