• The applicant must hold a Master’s Degree or an equivalent academic qualification;

• International certificate of English language proficiency (B2 level) (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE). An applicant who has completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Educational Program in English are exempt from submitting a certificate. If the applicant cannot provide proof of English language proficiency, s/he will be required to take an English exam at the University Language Center.

Successful completion of the Unified National Examinations is a prerequisite for admission to the program. However, in accordance with Georgian legislation, students may be admitted/enrolled to the university without these examinations under specific conditions outlined by law.

The module of research courses plays a significant role in the formation of a master's student as a researcher. It includes the following study courses: Forms and Technologies of Media Research; Media in Post-Soviet Georgia; Local Media Tendencies in Georgia.
The module of courses focused on the study of technologies, which places emphasis on teaching multimedia specifics. It includes the following study courses: Web Programming; Writing for Multimedia; Multimedia Technologies 1 and 2; Media Formatting Tools (technologies and content).
