Training: “Using EBSCO Scientific Databases”
On May 8, a training session on the topic “Using EBSCO Scientific Databases” was held at Caucasus International University. The event was organized by the university library.
Please note, Caucasus International University has subscribed to EBSCO EP Packages since 2010; however, starting in 2025, students and administrative staff will have access to EBSCO EP Package Premier, which will significantly enhance the scientific research resources of the university. This upgraded version offers a particularly strong focus on business-related content.
Expanded Access to Resources: Academic Search Premier includes 2,966 active full-text journals, of which 2,669 are peer-reviewed, ensuring the highest academic standards.
Comprehensive support for Business & Economics content: Beginning in 2025, the Business Source Premier subscription will give users access to exclusive, high-value content from institutions such as: American Accounting Association, Academy of Management Journals, Harvard Business Review, MIS Quarterly and INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research & the Management Sciences – journals, including:

The EBSCO EP Package Premier is tailored to meet the needs of both students and faculty, supporting innovative and effective research.
The training was led by Nana Khuskivadze, Director of Innovative Systems Management, who introduced the new features and explained the advantages of EBSCO in detail. We would like to remind you that access to these databases is available both on campus and remotely. For login information, please contact the university library!

On April 27-30, the “6th Erasmus+ Staff Week – Mobilities and Digitalization: Shaping the Future of the European Universities” was held at the University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Representatives of Caucasus International University participated in the event. The university was represented by the Head of the International Relations Department, Svetlana Kirakosiani and the department coordinators, Nino Chirgadze and Mariana Jalalbekova.

CIU Doctoral Students Visit the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria
From April 17 to 28, Bulgaria, in particular the University of Veliko Tarnovo hosted ten researchers from Caucasus International University. Doctoral students from the Doctoral Programs in Mass Communication, Political Science, Business Administration, and Law participated in the intensive, short-term exchange program.
