CIU Professors Were Awarded Honorary Degrees of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia for Their Scientific Achievements
Caucasus International University professors were awarded honorary degrees of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia for their scientific achievements in connection with the World Science Day established by UNESCO on November 10. The awarded professors are: Vakhtang Maisaia, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, the Supervisor of the Postgraduate Programs in International Relations and International Security, Global Politics and Security Studies (offered inn English language) and Beka Kantaria, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law, Head of the Scientific Institute of Constitutional Democracy.
November 10 was established as the International Day of Science in 2001 under the auspices of UNESCO, Georgia joins the world initiative every year since then.
It should be noted that in 2023 the International Science Day is celebrated with the following theme: “Fundamental Sciences for Sustainable Development”.

CIU Futsal Club is the Champion of Georgia
The 2025-2026 season in the Georgian Futsal Major League ended with the triumph of Caucasus International University team. In the fourth match of the play-off final series, CIU defeated its main rival, “New Vision Georgians”, with a score of 4:2, winning the series 3:1 and being awarded the title of the country’s champion for the third time in history.
