Saba Kitiashvili, CIU Post-Graduate Student Became a Member of Degustation Committee at National Wine Agency

Saba Kitiashvili, post-graduate student at the faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking, Caucasus International University became a member of National Wine Agency Degustation Committee.
After the completion of CIU course “Basics of Wine Degustation”, post-graduate student underwent trainings offered by National Wine Agency as the result of the recommendation of subject supervisor, Tamar Gurgenashvili. He managed to get high grades at the exam which was held at different stages.
The first part of the exam included group discussion and the second part consisted of individual degustation and assessment of 15 wine species.
Saba Kitiashvili, in parallel to studying, is a sommelier of wine company “Shumi” and as stated by him, membership of degustation committee is huge experience and career challenge for him.
Caucasus International University congratulates the post-graduate student of the faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking on this great achievement!

On December 6, fourth-year students of the Bachelor’s Educational Program in Tourism at the Faculty of Business and Technology successfully implemented a practical learning activity – an introductory tour of Tbilisi for international students of the faculty, within the framework of the course “Event Management and MICE Tourism” (lecturer: Assoc. Prof. Nana Akhalaia).
