Professor Giorgi Pareshishvili’s Presentation at a Scientific Conference in Japan

Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to the Rector of Caucasus International University, Doctor of Political Science, and Associate Professor participated in 2026 Annual Conference on Geopolitics and International Affairs - JAGR 2026 held at Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan. The event, which took place on September 19–20, was organized by Ryukoku University and the Japan Association for Geopolitical Research, drawing scholars from every continent.

At the conference, Giorgi Pareshishvili delivered a presentation titled “Conflicts in the South Caucasus and the Role of Religions in Facilitating Peace Processes: Georgia as a Model of Tolerance”.

During his visit, he also held working meetings with the Dean and professors of the Faculty of International Relations at Ryukoku University, as well as with the organizing committee chair, Professor Julian Taketani, to discuss prospects for future collaboration and the deepening of partnerships.
