Preparation and Submission of a Successful Research Grant Application

On October 23, the Faculty of Business and Technology and the Human Resources Management Service organized a training session: “Preparation and Submission of a Successful Research Grant Application" at Caucasus International University.

The training covered the following topics:

How to develop a research plan into a grant project - a general overview;

The main structure of the project proposal (scientific research; scientific effectiveness; researchers team; plan-schedule; budget) and sub-criteria discussion;

The strengths and weaknesses of each component of the project proposal according to experts’ assessments;

Parties involved in research and ways and methods of finding partners;

Reaction to the criticism of the experts evaluating the grant application.

Shorena Kurdadze, Doctor of Business Administration, Deputy Head of Scientific Research Department led the training.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, affiliated, academic staff and program leaders.
