Gregory Jusdanis’ Lecture

Gregory Jusdanis, Humanities Distinguished Professor at The Ohio State University visited CIU by the initiative and organization of Caucasus International University Innovations and Strategic Development Centre and The Institute of Multi-help Diplomacy.
The Professor delivered a lecture on the topic “Empathy, Literature, Mutual Understanding – The Role of Literature in Non-Violence and Peace Processes”.
Gregory Jusdanis placed emphasis on the significance of the science of humanities in the modern world compared to other exact sciences. In addition, he focused on recent tendencies which caused the decrease of readers as the result of the increase in electronic devices.
The professor presented CIU library his book and took photos together with students.
