    Georgian Diplomacy Week

    “Georgian Diplomacy Week” will be held on November 7-9 organized by the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of Caucasus International University and the Life-Long Learning and Career Development Services.

    The week includes the following activities:

    • November 7-8-9, 3:00 p.m., Room #303

    Training Course - “Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette”;

    The training course will be led by an expert in diplomatic protocol and etiquette issues - Giorgi Vashakidze;

    The course is intended for CIU students of II, III, IV academic years of Undergraduate Program in International Relations and I-II academic years of Postgraduate Program in International Relations and International Security;

    The aim of the course is to familiarize students with modern diplomatic protocol, etiquette standards and norms;

    The training course will give the participants the opportunity to get to know their profession from a different angle and understand the existing opportunities and challenges;

    Public Lecture on the Topic: “Diplomatic Career and Prospects for Professional Development”;

    Speaker – Nino Chabashvili, the first category senior specialist of the Department of Human Resources Management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Master of Labor and Organizational Psychology;

    Attendance is free!

    • November 8, 1:00 p.m., Room #101

    Public Lecture on the Topic: “History of Georgian Diplomacy”;

    Speaker – Mikheil Ukleba, Researcher of Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute, Ambassador.

    Attendance is free!

    • November 9, 3:00 p.m., Professional Visit to the Information Center on NATO and the European Union;

    Public Lecture on the Topic: “Dynamics of EU-Georgia Cooperation, Prospects of European Integration of Georgia”;

    Speaker – Davit Bujiashvili, Director of the EU Aid Coordination and Sectoral Integration Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia;

    The visit is intended for the freshmen of CIU Undergraduate Program in International Relations.
