English language proficiency exam for Caucasus International University MA program candidates will take place at 17:00 on 21 September, 2016. The exam venue is room 504, 5th Floor, CIU.
The exam in specialty for following MA programs will be held at 15:00 on 23 September, 2016. The exam venue is room 504, 5th floor, CIU.
- MA Program in Law;
- MA Program in International Marketing.
The exam in specialty for following MA programs will be held at 17:00 on 23 September, 2016. The exam venue is room 504, 5th floor, CIU.
- MA Program in International Relations and International security;
- MA Program in International Business Management;
- MA Program in Georgian Viticulture-Winemaking.
Exam Format and Assessment Criteria
- A written exam in specialty will be held for MA Program in International Relations and International Security.
Assessment Criteria:
- 15 Open Cloze Questions – 15 points;
- 5 Embedded Answers (Cloze) Questions – 5 points.
The threshold for MA candidates is 8 points.
- It is required to choose one essay from given 4 options and provide an argumentative essay (at least one page) for internal exam. Maximum grade – 10 points, minimal – 5 points.
The maximum grade is 30 points.
The candidate should obtain at least 8 points in open and embedded answer (cloze) questions and 5 points in argumentative essay in order to pass the exam.
- A written exam in specialty will be held for MA Program in Georgian Viticulture-Winemaking.
Assessment Criteria:
- 20 Open Cloze Questions – 20 points;
- 10 Embedded Answers (Cloze) Questions – 10 points.
The maximum grade is 30 points.
A candidate should obtain at least 16 points in open and embedded answer (cloze) questions in order to pass the exam.
- A written exam in specialty will be held for MA Program in International Business Management. The exam includes three questions;
The maximum grade for each question is 10 points.
A candidate should obtain at least 11 points in order to pass the exam.
- A written exam in specialty will be held for MA Program in International Marketing. The exam includes three questions;
The maximum grade for each question is 10 points.
A candidate should obtain at least 11 points in order to pass the exam.
- A written exam in specialty will be held for MA Program in Law. The exam includes three questions;
The maximum grade for each question is 10 points.
A candidate should obtain at least 11 points in order to pass the exam.
