Public defense of the dissertation thesis by Irakli Gabelia, doctoral student of Educational Program in Political Science was held at Caucasus International University on September 22, 2023. The topic of the dissertation: The Security of the Black Sea in the Current Geopolitical Context.
The scientific supervisor of the paper is Vakhtang Maisaia, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor at Caucasus International University. Alika Guchua, Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor at Caucasus International University, and Edisher Gvenetadze, Doctor of History, Professor of Georgian Technical University, are the official reviewers.
After submitting the paper and passing the relevant procedures, Irakli Gabelia was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Political Science by the decision of the Dissertation Board of the Doctoral Program in Political Science of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
