    GMT Student Lab Presentation Held at CIU

    Caucasus International University Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service and the Faculty of Business and Technology organized a presentation of the project “GMT Student Lab”.

    Within the framework of the event, Giorgi Kharatishvili, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding Development at GMT Hospitality, introduced the educational and practical program “GMT Student Lab” to the audience.

    The meeting was opened by Guram Liluashvili, Head of Life-Long Learning and Career Development Service at Caucasus International University. He placed emphasis on the need for close collaboration between the academic sector and business, noting that such projects play a crucial role in providing students with practical experience and realizing their career potential.

    During the meeting, the speaker spoke in detail about the activities, organizational structure and diverse directions of GMT Hospitality. In addition, the company’s internal educational platform was highlighted, which offers young people the opportunity to learn the profession from scratch, develop practical skills and advance their careers.

    As part of the presentation, students received comprehensive information about the one-month, fully paid internship program, which is implemented on a rotating basis in the leading facilities of the company. Participants also got acquainted with the educational component of the program, which includes specially designed trainings in the areas of effective communication, high-quality service standards, professional development and career planning.

    At the end of the event, special emphasis was placed on the important benefits that students involved in the program will receive, including: remuneration from the very first day of the internship, a professional certificate, master classes conducted by leading specialists in the field, the opportunity to gain real work experience, and the prospect of full-time employment in the company for successful participants.

    The meeting provoked great interest among students and once again demonstrated the importance of collaboration between the university and employing organizations in the process of promoting the professional development and career success of young people.
