08:00 AMCIU Held a Training Session for Academic Staff on “Internationalization in Practice”
On July 6, a training on “Internationalization in Practice” was held at Caucasus International University for academic staff. The training was led by Svetlana Kirakosyan, Head of the Department of International Relations.
During the training, participants received information about the significance of internationalization, increasing academic visibility, using international platforms (ORCID, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Scopus/Web of Science), international publications, participation in conferences, development of professional networks, opportunities of the Erasmus+ program, academic staff mobility, international partnerships, and mechanisms for involvement in international projects.
The participants also learned about the Erasmus+ CBHE project ERIC-GE, its objectives, implemented activities and opportunities created for academic staff within the project. In addition, the advantages of using the Web of Science platform were discussed, including its importance in developing research activities and increasing international academic visibility.
The aim of the training was to raise the awareness of academic staff and promote their involvement in international activities.
