    The open competition is announced on February 4, 2026;

    In order to qualify for the academic position, applicants are required to submit the following documents to the Contest Committee between March 9 -12, 2026:

    • Statement addressed to the Contest Committee, indicating the relevant field of study and the academic position being applied for;
    • Autobiography (CV);
    • Copy of ID;
    • One photograph;
    • Notarized copies of all educational documentsconfirming academic qualifications;
    • Educational document/s issued abroad must be accompanied by a recognition document in accordance with Georgian legislation;
    • Document(s) certifying scientific-pedagogical experience;
    • List of scientific papers published within the last five years;
    • Copies of certificates verifying participation in local and international conferences, seminars, and trainings (under equal conditions, preference will be given to candidates with more international conferences, certificate courses and trainings);
    • Copies of documents certifying international scholarships and grants (if available);
    • Certificate of conviction for a crime against against sexual freedom and inviolability.

    In order to qualify for the academic position of Professor, the requirements are the following:

    • Academic degree of Doctor (PhD)or an equivalent academic degree;
    • At least six years of scientific and pedagogical work experience at a higher educational institution;
    • Scientific publications in high ranking, peer-reviewed inetrnational journals within the last five years (links must be provided);
    • Participation in local and international conferences, seminars, and trainings within the last five years (under equal conditions, preference will be given to candidates with more local and international conferences, seminars and trainings, as well as scientific scholarships and grants);
    • Copies of documents certifying scientific scholarships and grants (if available);
    • The concept for the development of the educational program(s) in which the applicant wishes to participate.
    • Practical experience in developing educational programs and syllabi;
    • Under equal conditions preference will be given to candidates with professional work experienceas sceintific supervisor of a PhD student;
    • Under equal conditions preference will be given to candidates withprofessional work experiencein the relevant field;
    • Under equal conditions preference will also be given to a candidate withproven English language proficiency.

    In order to qualify for the academic position of Associate Professor, the requirements are the following:

    • Academic degree of Doctor (PhD)or an equivalent academic degree;
    • At least three years of scientific and pedagogical work experience at a higher educational institution;
    • Authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications in the relevant specialty/field within the last five years (under equal conditions, preference will be given to candidates with a more publications, especially those published abroad);
    • Participation in local and international conferences, seminars, and trainings within the last five years (under equal conditions, preference will be given to candidates with more local and international conferences, seminars and trainings, as well as scientific scholarships and grants);
    • A clearly defined vision of the course the applicant intends to deliver after appointment to the academic position;
    • Practical experience in developing educational programs and syllabi;
    • Under equal conditions preference will be given to candidates with professional work experience in the relevant field;
    • Under equal conditions preference will also be given to a candidate withproven English language proficiency.

    In order to qualify for the academic position of Assistant Professor, the requirements are the following:

    • Academic degree of Doctor (PhD)or an equivalent academic degree;
    • Authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications in the relevant specialty/field within the last five years (under equal conditions, preference will be given to candidates with a more publications, especially those published abroad);
    • Participation in local and international conferences, seminars, and trainings within the last five years (under equal conditions, preference will be given to candidates with more local and international conferences, seminars and trainings, as well as scientific scholarships and grants);
    • A clearly defined vision of the course the applicant intends to deliver after appointment to the academic position;
    • Practical experience in developing educational programs and syllabi;
    • Under equal conditions preference will be given to candidates with professional work experience in the relevant field;
    • Under equal conditions preference will also be given to a candidate with proven English language proficiency.

    Requirements for holding the academic position of Assistant:

    • The applicant must be a PhD candidate in the field / educational program within which they seek to hold the academic position;
    • Under equal conditions, preference will be given to an applicant with proven proficiency in the English language.

    For candidates applying for anacademic position based on professional qualification, it is required to demonstrate:

    Professional experience in the relevant field, which can be confirmed by at least five years of practical work experience in that specific area.

    Under equal conditions, preference will be given to a candidate who:

    • Has experience in scientific and pedagogical work;
    • Has publications in the relevant field;
    • Has participated in local and international conferences, seminars, and trainings;
    • Is a doctoral student in the relevant PhD program;
    • Can provide a document certifying proficiency in the English language.

    The selection process will be conducted in two stages:

    1. Short-listing candidates based on the submitted documents;
    2. Interview of the selected candidates with the committee/delivering a lecture (online, if necessary).

    Terms and Conditions of the Contest:

    • The contest statement and all required documents must be submitted within the specified deadlines;
    • The submitted documents will be evaluated by the committee to determine each candidate’s compliance with the main criteria.

    The first stage of the contest(evaluation of submitted documents) will be held on March 13, 2026;

    The second stageof the contest (if necessary)will be held onMarch 16, 2026;

    The results will be announced on March 16, 2026.
